We are excited to announce that the new Rum House has officially opened at Sugar House Island. The Rum House, at 2 Danes Yard, is the latest offer from resident distillers Jim & Tonic with a cocktail bar on the ground floor, a fantastic rooftop bar and spectacular three storey event space
The Rum House offers an extensive cocktail menu, presenting enticing concoctions and classic tipples. The rooftop bar provides panoramic views of Sugar House Island and the river – an oasis of calm to enjoy for the upcoming summer months.
The venue also plays host to several exciting events. Don’t miss the fantastic free live music at ‘The Rum House Sessions’ every weekend, where you can sit back and relax to the soulful tunes – from jazz and blues to Latin beats and reggae. If you’d like to get on stage yourself, head down for a free karaoke night on May 17th. The Rum House will soon be offering cocktail classes for all abilities, from expert mixologists to those looking for a fun day out.
The venue is also now available for private hire, spaces include the rooftop bar, the first floor events space, and the cocktail bar at ground floor.
We are delighted to be able to support Jim & Tonic’s expansion on the Island who set up their gin distillery in 2022. We’re looking forward to the Rum House distillery opening soon.
