A GROWING DESTINATION FOR FITNESS AND WELLBEING

Our newest Island tenant, GymOn, has recently featured in a Property Week article highlighting how gym and fitness brands have become some of the most sought-after ground floor occupiers.

The piece looks at how fitness operators are expanding, and landlords are increasingly seeing them as anchor tenants that bring footfall and community to a place.

GymOn signed to open its second venue at Sugar House Island this summer, following the success of its first site in Battersea. Co-founder Shahin Shamloo explained that the brand aims to bridge the gap between value chains and luxury clubs, and looks for neighbourhoods with a strong mix of residents, young professionals and students.

The article also featured our Head of Portfolio, Dan Westley, who said: “As fitness becomes a growing priority among Londoners, expanding our offering means we can provide existing and potential tenants a valuable amenity that supports their wellbeing and connection to the wider community.”

We’re delighted to soon be home to not one but two excellent gyms, with GymOn joining Marchon, whose coach-led functional fitness studio was named by Men’s Health as one of the world’s best gyms.
