HELP MAKE CHRISTMAS A LITTLE BRIGHTER FOR LOCAL NEIGHBOURS WITH CHRISTCHURCH THREE MILLS
Christchurch Three Mills is once again running its annual Nominate a Neighbour scheme, bringing a little extra support and festive cheer to local residents who may be finding Christmas financially difficult, experiencing isolation or who have made a special contribution to the community this year.
The aim is to put together at least 20 Christmas hampers at the beginning of December, filled with everyday essentials, festive treats and thoughtful activities for individuals and families to enjoy together.
How you can help
Whether you have a few extra cupboard essentials at home or are heading out to do your weekly shop, you can help make a difference by donating a few items.
Everyday essentials
- Pasta and rice
- Oats and cereals
- Jars of sauce
- Tinned goods and soup
- Tinned ham
- Noodles and instant food packets
- Long-life milk
- Herbs and spices
Festive food and treats
- Extra-large Christmas puddings
- Christmas cakes or Yule logs
- Mince pies
- Selection boxes
- Boxes of chocolates
- Chocolate and other sweet treats
- Packets of biscuits
- Packets of savoury snacks
- Christmas crackers
Gifts and activities
- Children’s toys
- Sweets for children
- Craft and cooking activity packs for individuals and families
Please note: Alcohol donations cannot be accepted.
Where and when to donate
Please drop off your donations at The Market, Sugar House Lane, London E15 2QS, by Friday 4 December.
Every donation, no matter how big or small, is greatly appreciated and will help bring some extra warmth and joy to a local household this Christmas.
