STUDENT LIFE AT SUGAR HOUSE ISLAND

In 2025, we were delighted to open the doors to our first university on the Island – international educators Study Group, in partnership with the University of Huddersfield opened a new managed campus in London and it’s rewarding to now see students settling in, learning and becoming part of our Island community.

Courses are aimed at international students and focus on preparing postgraduate taught and undergraduate students (from September 2026) for the world of work, through providing networking opportunities, industry connections, internships and bespoke career support.

The university has joined our dynamic business and education community, with other institutions such as East London Dance and School 360 supporting the next generation of talent and enterprise.

Students also have access to a multitude of amenities and entertainment at the Island, including Jim & Tonic’s bars and events, monthly street food markets and The Market’s wide supply of groceries and world foods.
