Explore Sugar House Island at Open House Festival
On Saturday 9th September, we’re celebrating Open House Festival by taking part and opening up the Island for people to explore behind-the-scenes of our riverside neighbourhood. We are working with our resident gin distillers, Jim & Tonic, and dance studio, The Talent House to organise a fun-filled day of tours, talks and activities.
Visitors can discover more about the fascinating architecture and history of Sugar House Island with tours led by our masterplan and landscape architects, Supervene and Planit-ie. We will also be offering guided tours of state-of-the-art facilities at the Talent House and of the distillery at Jim & Tonic, with an accompanying talk about the art of gin making and a chance to book yourself in for a tasting session at our newest addition to the Island, The Rum House.
Jim & Tonic will also be celebrating its 1st anniversary on the Island over the weekend, with a special event featuring DJs, customised menus, games, competitions and more.
